People accustomed to annual snowfall may laugh at the excitement of born and raised Southerners when we get snow, but for those of us living in the Midlands area of South Carolina, it doesn't happen very often so it's a big deal for many of us. Even two or three inches is enough to bring things to a major slowdown if not a complete halt. We aren't as prepared for snow as areas that get snow on a regular basis.
