homemade rolls
These rolls don’t last long around my house and they are simple to make.

1 cup warm water OR milk
1 large egg
5 tablespons vegetable oil
3 1/8 cups bread flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 teaspoons active dry yeast
melted butter to brush on tops after baking

I use the dough cycle on my breadmaker to mix and allow the first rise in it as well. Next, dump the dough on a lightly floured cloth or sheet of greased wax paper (preferred) and allow it to rest a few minutes. Oil hands and gently knead around 12 times. Form into rolls and place on greased baking sheet, allow to rise for about an hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, brush tops with melted butter.
